35th Annual GANANOQUE Spring Mini Convention

NEW HOTEL: Gananoque 1000 Islands Holiday Inn Express – 777 King Street East, Gananoque, Ontario K7G 1H4
 
Holiday Inn Express comes with more modern standard guest rooms with two Queen beds or one King bed. There are 11 rooms in total on each of the three floors of the hotel. The rooms come with a 25-inch TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board & free internet access. Breakfast is included and features eggs, bacon or sausage, coffee, tea & cinnamon rolls etc.  The breakfast meat offering is alternated each day.
 
All floors in the hotel can be accessed via the centrally located elevator. Exterior access to the hotel to unload and reload your stuff may be done through the main entrance or the two side entrances which have immediate parking spots available outside the door. The hospitality room that we have arranged for our group’s use on Thursday, Friday and Saturday is located in the basement and is a few short steps away as you come off the elevator.

Now for some quick details concerning our annual event. This year’s show will operate similar to the previous one held last year. We will continue with the traditional the room-to-room format for buy, sell and trade activity. BYOB, but we hope to augment this with some donations from the breweries. The show will also continue to include the following popular activities: euchre tournament; charity raffle; and mix-six etc.

Please note that our group will not have the liberty of open carry of alcoholic beverages in the Holiday Inn Express like we had at the old hotel. Therefore, once you venture outside of your hotel room and/or the hotel hospitality room located on the lower level of the hotel to socialize, please be prepared to use a tumbler and/or bag/cooler to conceal your drink and/or supply of drinks in transiting around the hotel to see other guests.
